In "Dawsons In The Revolutionary War and their Descendants" by Carol Ruth (Anderson) Dawson (1983). there is a Mahala White born 1804, died 1901, daughter of Hugh White and Nancy Dawson; she married her cousin Pleasant Lyon Dawson, son of John Sorrell Dawson and Jane Lyon; who also had a daughter Sarah Ann Dawson that married Thomas Buford Johnston and later lived in Adair Co., KY.
