I saw that you are related to Callaway as well as White,Hurt,&Fields and decided to reading your post just in case you spoke of your Callaway family. I am at a stand still with them and I'm grabbing at straws!
My 6th grandfather was Abraham North b.1732-d.1800, his son was William North b.1760-d.1788. William was married June 1,1781 to Polly Callaway. I read somewhere that after William died,(she being 23) moved to Kentucky and remarried a Joshua Baker. I also read somewhere that a gaurdian was appointed for William's son William (him being about 6. I can find no other info to connect them with my gr gr grand father William Robert North. So I keep searching. Can you help?
