My Cloud County History book puts Macyville in Summit township right where it meets Arion township. One of the 11 schools was Macyville. The town of Macyville was on Kansas Highway 9. The north south road in the township is Hwy 765 the Glasco Jamestown Road. There were three cemeteries. In 1991 there were 24 households and 61 residents in the township.
http://www.skyways.org/counties/CD/The only Spaulding in the index was the H M Spaulding Light Plant in Concordia.
If you go to mapquest south of Jamestown and look for the intersection of N 40th road, its about 2 squares east but its nothing but farmland.
I found a Wm Spaulding living in Ottawa township, Ottawa county in 1885, He was single, 20, with his parents W W and Mary. Ottawa County is on the southern line of Cloud county.
In 1900 I found Lucina Hall wd with daughters Hattie and Della, Charlie and Elbert where nearby on East 5th street, Concordia.
In 1880 I found Lucina E and Joseph Hall with children including with dau Myrtle 11 b Indiana and Hattie 8 b Kansas
In 1875 they were in > Jefferson County KS > Ozawkie
The only Myrtle Spaulding in KS I found was married to J D in 1905.
You might write to the Highland church and see if they have any records. I couldnt find an adtress but the authors were Marvin Henning, Jamestown KS. and James Tobald, Glasco. and they are listed.
