My gg grand father was Cummings J White who served in the civil war, Ohio Infantry. He had a daughter named Lillian Bell White who married James Edward Sheetz, they had three childeren named Russell,Oscar and Helen Margret. Any further information as to his grandparents and such would be helpfull. I think I have a picture of him in his later years and my uncle belives he has his civil war uniform, although he claims it is a captains uniform, yet all records I can find show him as a private.
