There were many WHITEs in OHIO in the early 1800s. I am looking for a family for WHITE, Cummings J. born Dec 4, 1844. I have done research on George Beavers WHITE who married Rebecca Jackson and had a large family in Ohio. There was also his brother, John who married her(Rebecca JACKSON) half-sister Catherine, both girls were aunts to Stonewall Jackson, the Confederate general. Both of these couples had sons named Cummings - one born 1814 and the other 1844. Does this fit with anything you have found??? I used Dexter WHITE's and Roscoe WHITEs books as sources.
