I think our lines might be very close, my Morlan ancesters went from Indiana to Wayne Co. also. My 3rd great grandmother was Martha Morlan she married George Rissler, 29 Oct 1851 in Putnam Co. IN. Martha died in Wayne Co. IA., age 30 leaving 3 kids.
I just started my Morlan research and have a bunch of family history printed out, do you have any dates for Abraham Riddle and Elizabeth Morlan? I will look through what I have and see if I find anything.

The Morlan's were Quakers, I figure until about the 1820's, that's when I find my Ancester, B Morlan, Martha's father was disowned for joining another religious society. They were easier to document when they were Quakers!
