Looking for information on Mary Webb who was born anywhere between 1756-1776 in Virginia and moved to Washington Twp, Van Buren County, Iowa. She appears in the 1856 Iowa State Census. Her son-in-law (Peter Gillis) filed manumission papers for her slave, Adam Webb, in 1859, leading me to believe that she died just prior to that.

Was wondering how to see if she has any probate records and how to obtain copies?
