Looking for information on Samuel and Elliot RICE. Samuel came to Oskaloosa abt 1851, practiced law, and was a 2 star general in the Civil War, 33 IA Inf. He died in July 1864 of wounds received in the battle of Jinken Ferry. Elliot came about 1856 and practiced law with his brother, Samuel and was also a general in the civil war.
