My name is Nancy (McCarty) Hoogendoorn. My father is/was Ronald "Bud"McCarty and I grew up just 1 mile from my grandfather W.S. McCarty "Mac". I never got to meet my grandmother... it was kept from the family and wasnt until I was older that I found out. Growing up I always wondered why/how my dad would want to be a part of the Beloit Childrens Home Reunion in Beloit Iowa. I have been told that Lucille left the children there after she left my grandpa. My father was about 9 years old and my youngest uncle was about 2. I do not know the circumstance and do not believe my grandpa was without issues.
I have no pictures of them or a wedding date.... I am interested in visiting with you and share what I have on my family...
