I lived in Keokuk in the 60's and don't recognize the name Philby. I have ancestors in Keokuk County going back to 1880, and I don't remember coming across the name Philby while looking at the census's.

If you have a scanner, you might want to scan some, or all, of the pictures and post them in a reply so that others can have a copy after you find a home for the originals.
