Hello, I'm researching my family forest. My grandfather was Lovate (Gause) Evans. his mother was Fawntella Evans. Lovate was born in either Muncie,Richmond,Ft.Wayne or Warsaw. Take your pick. in 1896. For the longest time I thought Warsaw,I've been told perhaps another place. I have very little to go on. Anyone out there with information about the Gause/Evans connection?? If so please e-mail me. Fawn had a sister Jaquetta. These names are not common. My grandfather also had a brother "Fuz" Vitale. My grandmothers family the Hiatts were from Richmond, Muncie, Bloomington and Economy Indian. Pauline Hiatt married Lovate Gause in Indiana. I'm grabbing at threads right now.'
