I am trying to find information on my great great grandfather John Reed whom I believe is the son of Minyard Reed. My cousin Gene Reed's DNA connects us to George Reed. John Reed is very elusive. There was a John Reed on the 1860 Gibson County census with a Rhoda Reed and babies Lavinia J. and Rachel Reed. I do know now that Lavinia Reed is the sister of my great grandfather Alfred Jackson Reed. Another sister is Polly Reed born in @ 1869-70. During the 1850s there were marriages between a John Reed and Emily Oldham, Harriet Gentry, and Rhoda Gentry in Warrick, possibly Pike County. Marriage with Rhoda was about 1857; Harriet a couple of years before. Would you have any information on John and Rhoda?
