Per SSDI, it appears she passed on 10 Aug 1998, her last benefit residence was Lake Charles, Calcasieu, Louisiana. You should be able to obtain a death certificate from the state (and or county) or her Social Security application (keeping in mind that she may not have died in the county or state where she was receiving benefits). Any of these documents should list her parents.
