Gene,
Have you found any more info concerning the link between James Harvey Day and Erza & Nancy Day as far as their being his parents. Was re-going over some of the queries here and noticed another woman has this James H. as a Henry.
I pulled the actual 1860 census record sheet off last night with the Erza and Nancy Day family. It seems to be our James Harvey as one son in Delaware Township of this family.
Delaware is only two towns away from where Clementine Hammer was born in Westfield. Both Erza and Nancy were born in Ohio (1860), as James H. lists in the 1880 census from Union, Daviess Co., Mo.
Would seem logical that the date I saw for them moving in 1875, after their 1871 marriage in Indiana, is correct from the woman I mentioned earlier.
Has any light been shed on this?

By the way, found an 1850 census record that has Lacy Luella Trimble listed as a child with name Lara Luella Trimble.
