Clementine E. Hammer had 7 siblings. Lydia A, John W, Mary E, Johnathan, Levi N, Emily J, & Aaron. Clema m. Caleb Nichols, Oct. 23, 1862, in Hamilton Co., IN. They had 4 children before he died in 1870. She then m. James H. Day, Mar 14, 1871 and they had 8 children.

My records show that Clema's father, Aaron, was actually born in Ohio, Feb. 16, 1823, along with one of his sisters. Their 6 other siblings were born in TN, before the family moved to Hamilton Co., IN. Both of Aaron's parents were born in TN. Johnathan Hammer, Jan. 20, 1795 and Lydia Bayless in 1797.

Edith Carsons parents were Hiram Carson, born in 1798 in Guilford Co., NC and Clementine Pearce, born Jan. 4, 1801 in Shewsberry, Manmouth Co., NJ.
