Ken.. thought I would give you a quick update... made it to the cemetary today, didnt realize how big this one actually was.. but found Joshua Copeland and the head stone says died Feb. 3, 1893 aged 76yrs 2m 2d..also found one headstone with 2 Copelands just behind Joshua's they were Mary L. b. 1859 d. 1939 and Henry S. b. 1855 d. 1913. I am going out tomorrow to use up the rest of the film on this roll at another cemetary and will take it in to develope. Will email when I get it back. Now.. my helper wanted to stop by the library on our way back so while there I did a quick look up in some of the records they had there and found 5 Copeland marriages..dont know if they are yours but here they are just incase:
Copeland, Henry to Wheeler, Molly on 1-19-1879
Copeland, Susannah to Lamb, Henry on 4-10-1873
Copeland, Lucinda to Elder, James on 6-6-1858
Copeland, Caroline to Kerr William M. on 9-6-1867
Copeland, George to Grady, Amanda P on 4-29-1860
Well I hope these help and I will email when I get the pictures back. I may have to go back and get another of Joshua's Im hoping it turned out .. it is one of those white soft looking ones that are hard to see and I forgot to take some chalk to darken up the writting. I took a couple different shots so hopefully they will turn out.. at least I know where it is if I have to go back.. haha..
