I would like to thank everyone for their help to me. I did obtain information from the Elkhart Public Library that allowed me to know so much more for this branch of my Thompson family that I did not know. This only thing I knew when I started was that Daniel was in Indiana when his father Charles M. Thompson died in 1910 and the death notice was published in a Detroit paper. Only wish I could find a living relative now that descends from this line. Hopefully some day I will be in the area and be able to get a digital picture of their tombstones. Again thanks everyone. Now I need to find Daniel's brother Charles H Thompson born 1873 who was in Chicago when his father died.
