Lacy Boots was my Mamaw's grandmother and from what my Mamaw said she was not always so kind. Her son Henry adopted my Mamaw. The few stories told to my Mamaw about her biological mother was that her mother was young, unmarried and spent time in a mental health clinic. She was also told that her mother died at a young age. I don't know how much of the is fact or lore...and would love more information on Anna B Carroll? I sure would like to find my Mamaw biological family.

From what I know about Lacy, she was divorced from Henry's father (I believe his name was Isaac or Isaiah)
