I'm researching these folks too. I am trying to confirm that Jane Kirkpatrick, who married William E. Lloyd, was a daughter of Thomas Kirkpatrick and Nancy (Adaire) Kirkpatrick. Also, was Thomas a son of David Kirkpatrick? I thought he was perhaps a son of Captain John Kirkpatrick, of New Jersey. Thomas' entry in the 1850 census indicates he was born in NJ, and John did have a son named Thomas.
