I don't have those names but there was a large Chalfant family in the early to mid 1800's in Coschocton Co., Ohio,
The original Chalfant name there was Mordecai Chalfant.

At least two other Chalfant families came to Wells Co. Indiana about 1850, one from Mahoning Co. Ohio and one from Trumbull Co. Ohio. Also try Perry Co. Ohio.
