He was the beginning and, so far, the end of the Brown family. All I know is that he and Eleanor were the parents of Hiram, Esmacy, James G, John M. Charles W, Henrietta, Mary Jane, and Hortense Brown. After Ellen died, he married Mary Lewton and thir children were James Brenton, Mary Jane, and Henrietta. I haven't found Z and Ellen"s antecedemts. The above information is from the family Bible and Hiram's diary of 1857 when Hiram was living in Columbus. In the front of the little diary it says in case of accident tell, "Z Brown, Esq, Monmouth Adams Co. Indiana". Hiram was my great grandfather and I know bunches about him and his family, but I don't know anything about your side of the family.I found Z's marriage license to Mary but don't remember where.
