The Hallam mystery has been solved. There was a place called Hallam, but is now known with another name. In spite of what was told to me by family members, the place where my great grandfather, Douglas Rush is buried is called Boydston Cemetery. It is south of Eureka, in the middle of a farm, and completely overgrown with trees and brush. Other Rush family members are buried there, as well. The complete list of known burials was provided to me by the Woodford County Historical society, and I put it all on findagrave.com.
