WOW I can't believe I found this!! It was quite by accident while doing some research on my Graham family that I got on here tonite and found your post.

I have been tracking the Graham's from Washington Co. Tenn and while looking for them discovered in the 1840 Vermilion co. census that William Breezley was living right in the middle of them. I had found his marriage record here in Washington Co. TN and knew that he had married a SABRE BITNER, who's parents were Margaret Graham and Samuel L. Bitner. Margaret had a brother, Charles Graham who married Elizabeth McCollum & a bunch of their kids had come up to Vermilion co too. And that's who I found William living between in 1840.

I believe he also had a brother James H. Breezeley who married Elizabeth Click and they had moved to Vermilion Co. too with the rest of the tribe. Elizabeth Click's sister, Catherine had married James B. Cloyd who was his 2nd wife. One of his kids from his first marriage to Mary Patton also had arrived on the scene about the same time.

From the story it appears that Sabre had died and William married Mary (what's her maiden name?) who had been married to a Seal and Arnspiker. They took their two families and moved to Iowa & their kids intermarried.

So here's the story, William Breezley was born about 1805 in probably Washington Co. Tennessee & married Sabre Bitner 20 Jul 1826 Washington co. Tn. According to the census they had at least 5 children: 2 girls (don't know their names & they might be involved here too for all I know) & 3 boys of which David A., John Davidson, & James M. She dies and he marries Mary & they go to Iowa. William was dead by the 1880 census when I found Mary living in the household of John Davidson Breezley & Rebecca Ellen Arnspiker. I don't know yet who William's parents were as I've just discovered all of this tonite and been working diligently piecing things together.

What a wonderful story isn't it? I'm SO glad you posted that, it sure made my life a lot easier trying to track them. I now have to try to find them on the 1850 census in Vermilion Co. to see who the girls might be. If you run across anything, please let me know. Thanks
Carolyn
