I am looking for someone who might have some information on the Batson's of Union County. There are three presumably sisters who married in Franklin County in the 1850's, Adaline, Tursey, and Emiline. There is also a Mrs. Terzy Batson that married in the 1840's in Union County. I believe that she fits in this somehow. Emiline is my gggrandmother she married Jesse Hammonds in Franklin County in 1853, they also have a daughter named Tursey.So I am figuring this has to be a family name.
