Looking for any connection in the Hagenbuchers known to have lived in Tremont, IL, in the late 1800s, with Arnold Hagenbucher. Arnold was born on 16 Aug 1863 in Hegi, Zurich, Switzerland. He married Albertina Polier in Portland, Oregon. They lived in Astoria, The Dalles, and Portland, Oregon. Arnold died in Portland on 5 May 1925.

Arnold's son, Carl Hagenbucher, received two letters from a relative of Joseph Hagenbucher (I believe his name was Gregory Hagenbucher), stating he believed there was a relationship between the Illinois Hagenbuchers and the Carl Hagenbuchers.
