I was wondering if there was anyone that goes to Rock Island Confederate Cemetery and takes pictures of headstones? I live in Alaska and it is doubtful that I will be in Illinois anytime in the near future *S* I would love to have a photo of John Irwin his grave site number is 1863. He died 5 Feb.1865 and was a Missouri Conscript. In all the papers that I have they have is name spelled as Irwin but it is really Irvin, we have run into this on other headstones. We know for sure that it is him.
