Juls, I don't know about them doing lookups. I know they were busy the day I was there and when I found the reference in the book one lady took me to the basement and got the file out of a cabinet. I took it back upstairs and they let me use their xerox machine to copy anything I wanted. I just had to let them use it if they needed to make copies for their work. They only had one machine. I wish you lots of luck. Maybe someone in the Pike County Gen Society could do some research for you. It wouldn't hurt to ask. If I lived up there I would be glad to help but I only get up there a couple of times a year.
