Yes. She was born in 1864 in Kansas. Her father was Charles W Brown, mother was Mary Eleanor Gerth. Mary's parents lived in Illinois. I do no know what brought Charles and/or Mary to Kansas unless it was the Brown family. Charles Brown is my mystery. I am searching for descendents of the Rush, Gerth, or Brown family. I do have a lot of information on Emma A Brown-Rush-Mishler. I also have one of her quilts, and her sewing basket.
