I saw your posting of Fanny Mayberry that came to IL. from TN. in 1830.

I was wondering if you ever discovered anymore about the ancestry of Fanny. We had John Mabry who left TN. and went to IL. and is found in the 1830 Clinton Co., IL. Census. He also had Fayette Co., IL. connections, and I really don't know where else in IL., but when I saw the name Fanny I wanted to check with you about her. Frances/Fanny was a very popular name in our Mayberry family.

My line of the family was Solomon Mayberry b. 1800 TN., and he named 2 of his daughters Fanny - one with each of his 2 wives.

I hope that we can find a connection. Thanks for any information for her.
