I'm sure you know by this late date that your Nolan was married to our Sarah Ward, and Sarah's father was Stephen Ward 1783 from NC, and deceased March 7, 1850. Hannah's second husband was George Cutright, and if I would hazard a guess it looks like her last baby was conceived before her marriage to George and she named this baby George. So Stephen Ward was deceased in the years you're looking for him, but his widow was very much alive and went on to have a number of children.
