I have not looked at your ancestry tree...could you share the name of it?
My cousin and I have been to the Black Family Cemetery where Lewis Linn is buried (in the cornfield) and cleaned and cleared it three times now - putting down sterilant each time... We have a stone outside the fenced area which denotes it as the "Black Family Cemetery".
I found where James and Rachel lived while near Tonti and know a lot about that area. My mom was born at Tonti (township I believe at the time)... My cousin and I were wondering if you had been able to go back another generation or two? We have been to the Rennick place in Barren Co, KY and secured some information about James and Rachel from that side of the family...We are thinking there could have been 2 or 3 James Black's as we find the first one in Maryland...We just wondered if you had more info that we could compare...also we would be glad to share what we have on our connecting person of Lewis Linn to Robert Kelly...Do you have the book on the Black Family written by Harry Black many years ago?
