That hospital was called "St. Joseph's of Mercy" or something like that, in my childhood. Later they built a new building nearby, on Sullivan Road, which was called "Mercy Hospital" and is now "Provena Mercy." When I was growing up in the 1950s and 1960s, St. Joseph's was the Catholic hospital, and Copley (on the east side) was the Protestant one!... That old St. Joseph's building is still there (2012) with an addition on it, and it's a retirement home called "Mercy Manor." Before that, after the new building was built, for a short time it was a retirement home for nuns.
