This query is an effort to find connections to the HEITKAMP families of the Menominee area of Jo Davies County Illinois.
My G Grandfather Bernard J Heitkamp was born in Menominee Illinois. I have read the Cemetary listing for the old cemetary located in Menominee Illinois and many of them are my ancestors. Several of the surnames in my list are names of people who married Heitkamps. I would like to make connections with other living descendants of these Heitkamps. Any person who may have old records, photos or just information to share. Bernard J Heitkamp married Catherine (Katie) Byrne in Benton Wisconsin January 31st 1899. There are many references to other Heitkamp marriages in the records of Cuba City Wisconsin, Sinsinawa Wisconsin and Jo Davies County.
