You could try calling the Catholic Church there. I have their telephone number if you'd like it.

The LDS Church has a ton of microfilms which can be viewed on Hancock County. I don't know where you live, but there is probably a family history center near you. You can order the films, pay a small fee to have them delivered to that center, and then view them. Our center even has a microfilm copier, so you can copy the records from the microfilm. To find the films you'll need to go familysearch.org and look in the "library catalog". I always do a search under the keyword search.
