I have not had opportunity to personally research this family but found Janice Barger site at www.gencircles.com/users/jbrooks and traced pedigree back from Almira Hopson and Archibald Tuttle.

Do you have anything on Almira the one born 22 April 1832 in Ohio and died after the 1870 Morgan Twp, Harrison, Iowa census taken 8 Aug 1870 of child bed fever after giving birth to John W. Tuttle?
