Thomas Hopson md Sophronia Pierce and had a daughter Almira Hopson b 1832 in Ohio who md Archibald Tuttle Sept 1850 in (Jasper?) Hancock County, Illinois. Daughter Mary Elizabeth Tuttle b 1853 in (Jasper?) Hancock County, IL md John T. Timmons. Almira Hopson Tuttle died in 1870 of child bed fever, possibly in Mondale, Iowa, after birth of John who was raised by Mary and John Timmons with his sister Harriet Minerva (my gr grandmother). Might your Hopson, Pierce and Timmons families be related? Any Tuttle names?
