I am interested in what you have on Samuel WELKER who marriced Matilda C. De VALL. Samuel's parents were John WELKER, Jr and Mary EPLEY. My connection to the above is through John WELKER, SR who m. Elizabeth TUMELSON.

I have Matilda C. De VALL b. ca 1841, in the 1870 census she was 29 years old; d. 19 Sep 1913, at 71 years. She m. 1 Jan 1861, Samuel WELKER b. 14 May 1835, Stark Co, OH; d. 12 May 1899, near Hazel Dell, Cumberland Co, IL. I have 3 children listed:
1. Willie D. b. ca Aug 1859; d. 1 May 1861 [are these dates correct, as Samuel's m. date is Jan 1861?].
2. Mary who d. 24 Oct 1864.
3. Emma b. ca 1869, was a musician.
They also had with them an unknown child-Rose HOSIER.
