I have a copy of my Grandmother's memoir. She was Ruby Allen and there can be no doubt that she was related to the Burnside family. She listed many cousins, aunts and uncles, including the family of Benjamin Allen who married Jane Burnsides in 1822.

I have no idea if her grandfather, Lewis Allen, was related to Benjamin Allen. But I think her grandmother, Nancy Burnsides Allen, was either a sister or cousin of Jane Burnsides Allen who is buried in the Burnside Cemetery inside Hazlett Park.

I'm very interested in untying the knotted relationships between all her various Allens and Burnsides relatives.
