Crystal, I certainly hope you are still out there. I found an obituarty for Paul Haskett. Also found a 60th anniversary annoucement for him and his spouse Nellie.

Paul E. Haskett Sr.


Paul Everett Haskett Sr., 84, of Marsing, died Thursday, June 21, 2001, at a Boise hospital. Graveside services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Monday, June 25 at the Marsing-Homedale Cemetery. Family and friends are asked to meet at the cemetery.




Mr. Haskett was born July 7, 1916 in Lynnwood Township, Kansas, the third son of Earl Eli and Tracy Haskett. He was reared and educated in Kansas and in 1937 moved to Delta, Colorado. He also lived in Utah and then returned to Kansas where he married Nellie Miller on February 20, 1940 at Alma, Neb. The couple returned to Utah and then moved to the Marsing area where they have since resided. Throughout his life, Paul worked as a farmer and rancher. He enjoyed traveling, rock hounding and hunting in his younger days.




Surviving in addition to his wife of 61 years, Nellie of Marsing, are three sons, Paul Haskett Jr. and his wife Kay of Renton, Wash., James and his wife Jeannie Haskett of Greenleaf and Sid and his wife Doreen of Marsing; a daughter, Doris, and her husband John Neil of Marsing; four sisters, Mary Claar in Florida, Noma Keesee, Bernus Warner and Betty Haskett all in Kansas; ten grandchildren, Sherry Sprygada, Denise Garcia, Julie Doser, Jason Haskett, Jeff Neil, Andrea Spear, Joshua Haskett, Scott Neil, Anthony Haskett and Jared Haskett; four great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.




He was preceded in death by his parents, four brothers and a sister.




Friends may call Sunday, June 24, 2001 from 3 p.m. until 5 p.m. at the Flahiff Funeral Chapel, Homedale.
