Ok, I spoke with the reference desk at the UI Library, there have been 3 names for the St Maries newspaper used over the years. The UI library has every issue printed on microfilm.

1st paper: St Maries Courier
Dates: March 12, 1901 - March 28, 1905

2nd paper: St Maries Gazette
Dates: March 30, 1906 - June 2, 1918

3rd paper: St. Maries Gazette-Record
Dates: June 4, 1918 to Current

*** There is a 1 year gap between the 2nd and 3rd papers. The librarian didn't know if there was maybe a misprint in their catalog about the year or if there was just no paper during that year.
