M/M Clark Louis Carter annouce the engagement of their daughter , Miss Rose Mary Carter, to james Melvin Cone, son of M/M James Brantley Cone, Jr.
The wedding is planned for April 5th at 6pm in the Cathedral of St John the Baptist.
The bride-elect attended St Vincents Academy and was graduated fro mSol C Johnson High School. She also attended Georgia Southern College. She is employed by the Corps of Engineers.
The groom-elect, a graduate of Windsor Forest High School, attended Armstrong State College and is employed by the engineering department of City of Savannah.
Miss Carter is the granddaughter of the late M/M Florence Alston Carter of Anderson,SC and the late M/M Thomas Joseph Brady.
Mr. Cone is the grandson of M/M James Brantley Cone and the late Mrs. Louise P Spell.
