I had suspected his father was a John Bryant since he was married in Madison County Georgia in 1833 and assuming he was living in the household of his father 3 years earlier in the 1830s census the household of John Bryant was the only Bryant listed with a son of the right age... but t hat's pretty much where I dead ended.
