Hey, thanks for posting :) I've wondered and still wonder if your Bryant family and mine are related since they were in Gilmer at the same time (which of course could be just coincidence).

Also my Bryant ancestor, son of John P, Elias married a Nancy M Thomas who was a daughter of a William of a Thomas family that seems to be living next to your Bryant family over multiple census records and two counties of Georgia.

in 1870 Gilmer county census your Needham Bryant and Jane are living right next to that big cluster of Thomas family. The interestingly in 1880 children of Needham are living next to that same Thomas family (that I believe mine connects to) in Fannin County Georgia, specifically Thomas Posey Bryant and George W Bryant.

Your Bryant family and that Thomas family might be connected i another way (mine is a bit indirect if related), but found it interesting.
