The Children's Home Society of Georgia was located near Grant Park, it had been in operation for several decades but closed in the early 1930's. I'm trying to locate adoption records from the 1920's when my mother was there. No luck. The court records were OPEN then, & I got her birth name, but still unable to locate grandparents.
