Fox Lake, WI -- Herman C. Smith, 85, Vero Beach, Fla., passed away suddenly on Thursday, July 21 (1966).

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, July 26, 2 pm at the Kratz Funeral home. Rev. Larcey Joiner will officiate and burial will be in the Randolph cemetery.

The late Mr. Smith was born in Washington County, Wisconsin, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Fred Schmidt. He lived at Randolph for many years where he was engaged in the lumber and concrete business. For the past 25 years he has lived in Florida.

Surviving are one son, Harold Smith of Vero Beach, one granddaughter, two great-granddaughters, and one great-great-granddaughter, adn nieces and nephews.

Preceding in death were his parents; wife, four brothers, Henry, William, John and Otto Schmidt, and three sisters, Mrs. Minnie Hoffman, Mrs. Bork and Mrs. William Ruenger.
