The Univ of DE in Newark did mail me the pages regarding Whann family. However I don't believe the William(b. 1741) who married Jane Alexander is mentioned in that book. My Whann Chart has William as possibly my John(from Strickerville, PA) as brothers along with Samuel who married Sarah Barr. They were all in the same generation. And I don't believe he had any sons who carried on the name. This is not the William who married Jane McCormick must later in years. I have a Whann cousin in DE who actually went to that cemetery and photographed the head stones.
