Hi Philip, I never heard back from the current Fire Chief. I email somebody at the Mattatuck Museum to inquire if they have photos. I got an automated response that they charge $25. hour regardless if they find anything or not and to respond if I am still interested. I said, no thanks. But they asked if I they can have a copy of the photo, so may they will Id it.

How do you know it's the Waterbury, Ct fire department and is there an insignia or something on the uniform that indicates Waterbury? I know when searching for Waterbury Historical, Waterbury, Vt came coming up as well as CT. The photo is a bit blurry to me.
