I am researching his brother Samuel Thompson born 1767 East Haven, New Haven, Connecticut and died about 1840 Bath, Stubbin, New York. He is suppost to have married to Sarah Holt 1769-1795 in East Haven, New Haven, Connecticut. I found him in Trumansburg and Bath NY after fighting in the Revolution War in place of his brother Jared Thompson. Samuel is buried with Lydia Holt who I believe was marred to Jessie Bradley 1766-1796 died at sea. I believe after the death of Sarah, Samuel married Lydia and they and a group from New Haven moved to New York in 1805. I am researching my gggfather Daniel Thompson who (War of 1812 veteran)married to Susan Ann Bradley (1788-1871) I believe is the son of Samuel. It is a tangled mess and I am trying to untangle the families that moved to Ulyssses NY in 1805.
Does anyone have any info on this group?
