Interesting name since it runs also through my husbands family. I don't know if these are the Fords and Griffinns your looking for, but I'm also searching out Fords and Griiffns.

I have some information obtained from the Rootsweb for St. Joseph's Church in Ashfield Twp., Huron, Ontario.

Marriage record for Thomas Ford and Julia Griffin.

The 19th of Feb. 1864, after a publication of two banns and a dispensation the third one and no impediment of being found I married Thomas Ford son of Patrick and Catherine Casey. And Julia Griffin dau. of Patrick Griffin and Catherine King in the Presence of John Ford and Catherine Austin.

Patrick Ford and Catherine Casey were my husbands GGG grandfather and grandmother. Catherine King was their Daughter in law Bridget King who was married to their son Dennis Ford. Another sister Johanna King was married to Phillip Austin.
