Thank you for your suggestion. I do have her death certificate, funeral program and photo of her tombstone - all having a BIRTH YEAR = 1893. Unfortunately, I know this is WRONG. The problem is that her 2nd husband did not know the YEAR of her birth and he was the "Informant" on all 3 of those items.

Grandmother was embarrassed that she was older than her 2nd husband which was the reason she "fibbed" about her birthyear. Sad, but true.

I was excited to receive from the Social Security Office a copy of her application which I only ordered recently. Interestingly, the 1-page form has 2 DIFFERENT YEARS: 1889 which I think is correct and 1892 ... [hmmm???]

From looking at ALL the records I have gathered, I truly believe she was b in 1889, but was hoping to locate a contemporaneous BIRTH record to know for sure.
